WE CAN USE MUSIC AS A WAY TO ESCAPE REALITY. HOW?
For some, the power of music can provide a temporary escape from stress, depression and sadness. While it isn't a cure-all, it can be a vital part of someone's mental health journey.
Jamming out to music is a stress reliever. When we listen to music, we enter another world. We listen to the stories sung, rapped, and expressed in lyrical forms that relieve us of our stress and improve our mood.
Similar results emerged in responses to the following item, in which 56.0% of the respondents stated that music definitely gave them a way of escaping (item 12: Do you think of music as a form of escape?); and 25.2% answered that it helps them quite a lot. Along the same lines, just 1% responded negatively.
